Hello, my name is Faiz but you can call me Faz.
I have a passion for teaching people learning how to drive. I qualified two years ago through BSM but now I work for myself. This has allowed me to bring my own approach and expertise into teaching pupils learn how to drive.
ADI and DSA Approved!
You will be glad to know that I am a fully qualified and DSA approved Driving Instructor – that means I am registered with the Driving Standards Authority, I have completed all the training needed to teach other people to drive, and also I have completed extra CPD training like coaching etc to further enhance my teaching skills and of course, I’ve been CRB checked for your safety.
It means that you can be reassured I know what I am doing (I get to display a snazzy green badge in my car to prove it) and that I am committed to what I do. It’s just one of the reasons that, in just two years, I have maintained over 70% first time pass rate whilst running a professional and friendly driving school.
What is involved in my driving lessons?
I think the key to success when learning to drive is to master the basics before venturing on to the bigger, more challenging stuff. It’s like building a house, ensure you have the best foundations and the rest of the build is a breeze!
A flexible approach is important and I tailor each lesson to the individual. There are no set timescales; the pace of the course will be set by how quickly you master the skills. There is no point in rushing through everything without making sure you are confident in each and every task.
I am one of the very few driving instructors in Manchester to embrace the power of technology. I have my iPad which has proven itself to be really useful, enabling me to play driving videos and show pictures and explain complicated driving maneuvers and junctions. Also pupils can practice mock Theory and Hazard Perception tests and book Theory and Practical driving tests in-car. Geeky but brilliant!
Still not sold?
Choosing a driving instructor in Manchester is not easy. Quality and price can vary greatly and given how low the average pass rate is and how expensive a Driving test is, you will want to choose an instructor that will give you the best chance of passing first time. Learning to drive with the Mancunian Driving School is one way to do just that!
Take a look around the site, see what I have to offer, or contact me. Maybe even give me a trial run by booking a Taster lesson. We offer a one hour taster (£10) and two hours (£20). Whatever you decide, thanks for taking the time to visit Mancunian Driving School and please feel free to cycle through some of our testimonials below to see what other people think of us!
What do our students say?
Passed First time with MDS! Faz was a great Driving Instructor and very punctual and flexible with Lesson times. Throughout the lessons he built my confidence up through the relaxed yet detailed approach he took to teaching. I advise anyone wanting to pass with conviction to give him a call. You won’t regret it.
1st time pass, no feedback provided.
Thank you Faz in helping me to pass my driving test, I can now insure my van now and start my own business. I am going to recommend you all my friends and family.
I already knew how to drive from back home so I just needed some refresher lessons to get rid of some of my bad driving habits. Also I had a problem with coasting when turn left and right at junctions. I passed my test first time thank’s to Faz’s help.
Very flexible and always willing to go that extra mile if needs be to help. Very positive and friendly which made each driving lesson comfortable and supportive. Overall I would suggest Faz to any of my friends or family who want to learn to drive. Thank you again for helping me pass 1st time
Faz was both patient and direct in his advice. He was helpful in tailoring my lessons to my specific needs. I felt confident going into the practical examination after the coaching provided by Faz. He was very honest with me in assessing my strengths and weaknesses, in order to best ensure that I passed the test. Faz had a good insight into what the examiners would look for during the test, and gave great tips on how to avoid pitfalls. This helped me pass my test 1st time.
